Message From the Principal

Dear Families,

Congratulations to all our students for their efforts in Term 2. On top of their learning, students had an eventful term with swimming lessons, sporting carnivals and extra-curricular activities. Lucky it was an 11 week term to fit it all in! Thank you to our staff who continue to support our students’ development. They have also been busy during the term and look forward to a time to rest up and start planning for next term. Thank you, parents, for your support. We need volunteers to help the school run. It is great to have parents helping at sporting carnivals, picking up lunches, helping in the classroom and organising community events such as the Mother’s Day Morning Tea. Thank you for supporting the school.

Semester One reports will be available Friday afternoon. The semester report is a formal document to notify parents about their child’s level of achievement, but the conversation around growth and progress is ongoing. Teachers are using SeeSaw to help share student work samples and assessments. Our teachers are available for meetings during the term if you wish to meet and work together to set goals and discuss strategies to support the students.

While the holidays are a good time to rest and recover, I encourage all families to set time aside for reading to maintain the routine of reading each day. The holidays provide a great opportunity to dig into some books for the Premier’s Reading Challenge or just sit and enjoy reading together. The impact of reading each day is a worthy invest of time and can make a big difference!

I wish all our staff and families a wonderful and blessed holiday break. At this time of year, the weather is great to spend time exploring the Pilbara and I am sure there are many families who have visitors who have travelled north to escape the cold.  The school break is also a great opportunity for travelling further for holidays or visiting family and friends. For all those traveling far and wide during the holidays, we wish you all safe travels. For me, I am looking forward to having family fly over from Victoria to spend time together in Exmouth.

Enjoy the school break and we look forward to seeing everyone rested and ready to return in Term 3!

Interschool Cross Country Carnival

On Wednesday 26th June St Paul’s competed at the West Pilbara Primary Interschool Cross Country Carnival in Dampier. Our student athletes showed amazing effort, resilience and determination, whilst representing our school with great pride. Thank you to all the parents who attended and supported our school team, your support is much appreciated. We were lucky enough to finish in 3rd place out of the 8 attending schools, which is a massive achievement! Special congratulations go to Isla in Year 2 who was champion girl in her respective division.

Sacrament Of Confirmation

Our Year Six students are getting ready to prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation.

When children are Confirmed, they are sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. Their Baptismal promises are renewed, and their spirit is strengthened to practice their Catholic faith in all aspects of their lives.

If you would like your child to receive this sacrament, please complete an enrolment form and pay the administration fee of $35 via QuickCliq.

If you have any queries or questions, please contact Mrs Bennett via email –

Caritas Fundraiser

One of our Year Six students, Poppy, is fundraising for people in need through Cartias Australia.

She is committing to swimming 20km throughout June and July to help those less fortunate.
